Clients to us
We pride ourselves to provide you the services you have booked and always ensure you are happy before we leave.
If a client fails to make payment, we will send a demand for payment of what is owed. By Law if the you have received your invoice and or we provided the service and failure to make payment in the adequate time we will send a payment request before taking legal actions. If the payment has not reached us within 30 days we will add admin and interest for each day that passes as we are legally allowed to charge this. If after 30 days we still have not received any payment we will start legal action for non payment. All court fees, interest , debt collection, admin fees and solicitors fess will be payable by you.. This will seriously adverse your credit score. Your debt will go to a collection agency.
Business to Business
We can claim interest and debt recovery costs if another business is late paying for goods or a service.
If you agree a payment date, it must usually be within 30 days for public authorities or 60 days for business transactions.
If you do not agree a payment date, the law says the payment is late 30 days after either:
-
the customer gets the invoice
-
we deliver the goods or provide the service (if this is later).
Interest on Late Commercial Pay
The interest we can charge if another business is late paying for goods or a service is ‘statutory interest’ - this is 8% plus the Bank of England base rate for business to business transactions.
We cannot use a lower interest rate if we have a contract with public authorities.
Check the current Bank of England base rate and previous rates.
Example
If we were were owed £1,000 and the Bank of England base rate were 0.5%:
-
the annual statutory interest on this would be £85 (1,000 x 0.085 = £85)
-
divide £85 by 365 to get the daily interest: 23p a day (85 / 365 = 0.23)
-
after 50 days this would be £11.50 (50 x 0.23 = 11.50)
Send a new invoice if you decide to add interest to the money you’re owed.
Claim Debt Recovery Costs on Late Payments
We can also charge a business a fixed sum for the cost of recovering a late commercial payment on top of claiming interest from it.
The amount we're allowed to charge depends on the amount of debt. We can only charge the business once for each payment.
Amount of debt What we charge
Up to £999.99 £40
£1,000 to £9,999.99 £70
£10,000 or more £100
These amounts are set by late payment legislation.
We can also claim for reasonable costs each time you try to recover the debt.
Skin reactions
If after your trial, or appointment you have a skin reaction you must inform us within 24 hours so that we can note which possible products used could have been reacted to. We ensure that all our products are well recognised brands and anyone can react to products. We do not take any liability for any adverse reactions, therefore should you have sensitive skin, we advise you to provide makeup that is suitable for your skin and we will be happy to apply to your face.
